DVD on TV

DVD on TV is a movie show airing every wednesday night on FX Network. During breaks in the movie hosts Dave Holmes and Jennifer Lothrop present the best features from the DVD of that evening's film. The show takes place on a real set and on a Full Mental Jacket designed virtual set for the segments which features the DVD content.

The virtual set was inspired by visual style of 'Minority Report' and 'The Matrix'. We created a blend of future technologies such as holographics and 3 dimensional projections while still keeping things grounded in a realistic environment. The space was designed as if you were inside a 3 dimensional DVD with the screens as the various DVD features. Animations bring the screens to the hosts and make the environment seem interactive.
